MallowDrama offers desserts with a dramatic flair, specializing in cakes, cupcakes, and chocolate truffles for weddings and social, corporate, and community events.  Based in Reston, Virginia, MallowDrama serves the metropolitan DC area and beyond, providing creative, custom cakes that are sure to be remembered for their appearance and for their taste.  Our products are m ade fresh to order, using natural ingredients (except where food coloring is required for custom decoration), with sustainability and community always in mind.  We use only organic eggs, dairy, and sugar in everything we make, and we strive for as many other ingredients as possible to be organic and/or locally sourced.  Vegan and gluten-free cakes and truffles are available upon request, as are cakes and truffles made entirely from organic ingredients.
 
MallowDrama is owned by husband and wife team Mary & David Supley Foxworth, who share responsibilities for baking, designing, and producing each of the cakes.  David’s background in art enables MallowDrama to offer intricate hand-painted details, edible sculptures, and carved, three-dimensional cakes, while Mary focuses on more traditional decorating techniques.  We work with our wedding clients to create modern, inventive, and, most important, personal wedding cakes. When it comes to groom’s cakes, the sky’s the limit; we love to be challenged with special requests that reflect the passions and personality of the groom or couple.
 
While we focus on artistry in the design and appearance of our cakes, we know that cakes are meant to be eaten and must taste as good as they look.  MallowDrama uses high-quality ingredients and puts as much attention into baking each cake fresh from scratch as we do into the decoration.  We are always working to expand our repertoire of creative flavors.
