The Washington DC Couture Wedding Consortium (DCCWC) was founded by Katie L. Martin from the event design firm Elegance & Simplicity Wedding & Event Designers, Inc. At its inception in 2001, the DCCWC was formed with vendors hand-picked for their consistent excellent service as well as their innovations and creativity in regards to incredible and fabulous weddings! After the 1st year, the consortium grew based on the knowledge that all new vendors had to be mutually accepted and recommended by the current members before being added.
